Found what appears to be an error (or maybe just an outdated reference) in the Android Wireless Application Development book. Default System resource definitions, such as certain system colors, animations, etc are found in:
\SDK_InstallPath\platforms\android-1.5\data\res\values
The book mentions they are found in /tools/lib/res/default. That's not the case for me... I don't even have that directory appear in my install.
